Sand Cherry

We don't celebrate Easter in any formal way in our house. Honesty I prefer to celebrate the arrival of spring and most years I try to bring a branch of some kind inside and then we love to dye eggs and hang them on said branch. Well this year I snagged this lovely off my neighbors sand cherry that has a big split down the side. This part was on the ground almost separated from the main branch but I noticed it had a few buds on it  so I brought it in and after only a week or so it turned into this- ready for some bee's.
Hope you had a nice weekend and are ready to start a new week!

  4. Dear Kristen,
same to us, we don't celebrate Easter but arriving of spring.
What a wonderful branch... the blossoms! And those colourful eggs. Those pebbles in the vase seems to take their shape up.

Lovely green on the wall, its my favorite.

    Love, Ariane.

  8. C'est une tradition très vivante aussi en France que cet arbre décoré d’œufs. Le Printemps est bien présent dans ta jolie maison.

    Bravo
