Drawing Challenge Cross Stitch



This weeks drawing challenge is cross stitch- hosted by Nadine at
Tiny Woolf-  I admit I've never done cross stitch before but have often admired it. 
Mostly I played with graph paper and patterns for this and then cut them out and kept a couple for collage...and added a little sewing to the paper- sort of a "Sampler"  :)

  12. I love how you played with paper, stitching, paint, it all works so harmoniously. The bird is a lovely focal point and all around it texture! It looks like it was a lot of fun to create.
