Where has this week gone!!

On top a drawing I manged to squeak out the other night
An extinct ancestor of the  musk deer-
Yes those are fangs on such an delicate looking creature
which to me is a beautiful contradiction of nature :)

Below yellow beech leaves that I collected on a short walk.
They felt so good sandwiched together in my hands, I had to
take them with me.
I hope you have a good weekend!

  1. Hi Kristen, it is such fun to reconnect with my blog friends & to catch up with what they have been doing. I have missed your lovely posts. So simple & so true.

  2. A couple of funny things: when I first saw the leaf photo, I thought: 'Oh, a leaf sandwich', and then I read your post!
Second funny thing: your drawing of the extinct ancestor is exactly what Flossy sees when she is out barking at deer on our property!
    Happy weekend, sus
