I've been spending more time on Instagram  as of late...
but I'm still trying to keep up the appearance of maintaining
an active blog...so I thought I would share a small rug I'm making
which I think will turn into a pillow by the size of it...
And I've also been gifted a good size floor loom and had the good fortune
of meeting some local women who weave and latched onto them to get my
feet wet with the process of hand weaving- nothing to show on that
front yet as I'm still learning how to "dress" my loom and address the missing
pieces and extraneous tools needed to actually make something :)

We are traveling a lot on the weekends this fall- catching up with family mostly
and I haven't been able to make the drawing challenge for the past few weeks...
I'm hoping that will change after this coming weekend-
and have more "real" time to visit in blog land :)

  1. I love your rug! It seems a lot of people are spending more time on Instagram lately….Although I don't put much on there maybe I should…I will follow you …. so I can keep up with you & whats going on in my old neck of the woods But I hope you won't give up on your blog altogether. I love the things you post.

  3. Your rug is so pretty! Please show me the hippo's front face next time. It must be adorable!

    Thank you for your comment.
I have heard that 70 ~100 grains come out from one ear of rice.
6480 grains can fill one cup(180cc). I hope you make sense!
Here in my town, farmers grow their rice for their family, not enough to sell.
Have a good new week, Kristen.
